There is a fine line between good and evil sometimes.

And often something people like to call it a “grey” area.   Do you have your grey areas in life where you bend the rules a little?   I know I do.

The real question

The real question:  Is your grey area preventing you from the greatest of the Lord’s blessings to which you are entitled when you choose the right?   I would venture a guess to be yes.   No one is perfect, this is a well-known fact.   But if we are always striving to be as perfect as we can be, God’s greatest blessings can and will be ours.

Cut yourself out of the grey area.

How do we cut ourselves out those grey areas and stay on the good side of the line, the white side?  It is not always easy, but it is always definitely worth it!   Choosing the right can help us stay out of the grey area and keep us going in the right direction.

Choosing the right is the key to the vehicle that will take you back to the Lord.   We all have a key to that vehicle.

Choosing the right is essential for our spiritual well-being.   But it is so easy to forget that we have that key and that we have access to the vehicle that will get us back to God.   How do we remember when the world is bombarding us with so many things that cause us to forget?

A CTR ring is a wonderful and sure way to always remember to choose the right.

Not just any CTR ring will do.  A CTR ring needs to be something you always want to wear and something that will stay nice for a while.

How about a tungsten CTR ring?

Tungsten is strong enough not to bend or scratch while maintaining a brilliant shine for a long time.  You will be glad to wear a tungsten CTR ring to help you remember to always choose the right.  Choose the right CTR ring: a tungsten CTR ring.

Optional But Essential

Choosing the right is optional but essential.

Choosing the right is really only one of many options to help us live our lives.  There are others that are less effective and more detrimental to our spiritual health.  Knowingly committing sins only helps Satan take over our souls and become the dominator of our lives.   No one is perfect, and sin is inevitable.   But there are measures we can take to ensure that we are as far away from Satan as possible.

Take measures to ensure that Satan’s grasp on you will slip.

Measures such as reading scriptures, attending church meetings regularly, paying an honest tithe and serving others are only a few of those things to help you separate yourself from Satan’s choking grip.   Choosing the right will help you accomplish the things that will ultimately ensure your triumphant return to Heaven.

We can be easily distracted by our all-encompassing world.

This crazy world often distracts us from those all-important things that keep us away from Satan’s engulfing and deadly grasp.   It is not always easy to choose the right.   Most often, it is the more difficult choice.   But your reward will be greater than imaginable.

Reward yourself for choosing the right.

Reward yourself right now for choosing the right.   Reward yourself with a CTR ring.   This will also be a reminder for you.   Get a CTR ring that fits your personality, depicts your strong will and displays to others your unwavering dedication.

Choose a tungsten CTR ring.

A tungsten CTR ring is just perfect for you.   It is strong, will not scratch or bend and stays absolutely brilliant over time.   You will always be happy to display your tungsten CTR ring.   With many styles to choose from, you can never go wrong with a tungsten CTR ring.

Friends for Life

Posted by: jennifer in Categories: CTR Rings.

Something that I’m really grateful for in my life is that I’ve always been blessed with good friends. Some friends have only been in my life for a little while, and others have been there for years. And then there are those friends who it seems like you’ve known forever, but when you think about it, it’s just been a few short years. I’m really lucky.

Friends Help Us Choose the Right

I think friends are so important in our lives. Friends shape and form you as a person. The kind of character you develop comes in large part from the friends you associate with as a child and a teenager. As you grow, you realize that some friends are good for you and some are just plain toxic! But it’s those good friends, those who have been good examples, that help shape part of who you are.

We Wore CTR Rings

I’ve never had to worry if my friends would lead me down the wrong path or tempt me to do something that I don’t want to do. It seemed like there’s always been an unspoken pack among my group of friends…that we will always choose the right and stick by each other. We always wore CTR rings, so we had a constant reminder to choose the right. We help each other to make good and correct choices in life. I’ve been very blessed to have good, courageous, exemplary friends in my life. And lucky for me, I can even count my family among my friends.

Life Gets You Down

Sometimes, life beats you up. You’re tired, you’re worn out, and you just wonder if you really can do all that is expected from you. And then, you get a call, or an email, or maybe just remember something really funny that one of your friends did and the world is right again. Maybe it’s a lunch date with a close friend, or an email from an old co-worker. Maybe it’s the comfort of knowing that if you pick up the phone or you click the send button, that the person on the other end is going to be there for you and listen and love you…no matter what.

And sometimes, there are those friends who you don’t really talk to much anymore. Those who have moved far away, or who have demanding careers  that you just don’t get to see or talk to much. But you know, no matter what, they would be there for you. And that’s what really counts.

CTR Rings for Gifts

I’ve been thinking lately about these fabulous friends in my life. As we grow older, we still like to get each other gifts. These gifts are sentimental and mean something to us. They are usually associated with a memory. For the next birthday, Christmas, or just because gift, I’m going to choose a CTR ring. When I really stop and think about it, the choice to wear CTR rings as kids is what shaped us into such good friends for the future. A CTR ring is the perfect gift to show my dear friends how much they need to me.

The Lesson of the Windows

The weather has been getting nicer around here. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and I can see blossoms and flowers popping up on the trees and from the ground. The sun feels fabulous on my skin after long months of cold and snow.

Spring Cleaning

As most people do this time of the year, I decided to do a little spring cleaning around my home. One of the areas that have been neglected throughout the winter months are the windows. So I set about to get those windows sparkling clean. I squirted and scrubbed and cleaned for hours. They looked lovely when I was finished.

Windows Help to Choose the Right

I sat there for a bit after I washed the window (partly to relax because I was so exhausted) to just stare out my very clean windows. I looked at the trees outside and the gorgeous blue sky and my mind wandered to repentance and the chance to become clean.

Just like my windows, we all have the opportunity to scrub and clean the “winter” gunk from our souls. We can make the choice to clean up our lives and to get our souls sparkling clean. No matter how hard we try to choose the right, wrongs do come into our lives. Thankfully, we can right those wrongs and get back on track with our lives and with our Heavenly Father.

Julie deAzevedo wrote a beautiful song about windows and becoming clean. The words to her song “Window to His Love” echoed my thoughts about my cleaning adventure.

“I want to be a window to His love. So when you look at me, you will see Him. I want to be so clean and pure, that you won’t notice me at all. But through my open door, you will see Him. A window to His love. A doorway to the truth. A bearer of the message He’d have me bring to you. I want to be so pure and clear that you won’t even know I’m here, ’cause His love will shine brightly through me.”

Becoming Clean

As I reflected on choosing the right and repentance, I realized I do want to be as clean and a sparkly as my freshly washed windows. I will do better to choose the right. I will try a little harder to be a little better.

Finish the Day and Be Done with It

Posted by: jennifer in Categories: Uncategorized.

It’s time to stop beating ourselves up! Stop berating yourself over and over again for making a little (or big) mistake. How many little mistakes do we make in a day? Too many to count! It seems absolutely pointless to focus on the negative instead of the positive in our lives.

Instead of focusing on our mistakes, let’s remember our good decisions, the times we chose to choose the right. Let’s reward ourselves for the good we do in the world!

I often find myself thinking, “I should have done that” or “What a lame move.” I have a co-worker who tries to cheer me up when I focus on my mistakes. She likes to say, “Hey, remember that really great idea you had!” or, my personal favorite, “It is what it is.” Somehow, when she makes these little comments, they make me laugh and I suddenly feel a little better. I’m always grateful for her and her help in reminding me that everyone makes mistakes.

But what my co-worker doesn’t realize is that she taught me a wonderful principle the first time she started helping me to see the positive. She taught me to finish each day and be done with it. She showed me how to celebrate the good. She helped me see that I was making good decisions and going in the right direction in life. What an important lesson for all of us to remember!

Ralph Waldo Emerson once wrote:

Finish each day and be done with it.

You have done what you could;

some blunders and absurdities have crept in;

forget them as soon as you can.

Tomorrow is a new day;

you shall begin in serenely

and with too high a spirit

to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

I love this poem and the emphasis it places on remembering the good and forgetting the bad. Let’s remember the times when we made good choices instead of the times when we’ve made mistakes. Let’s move forward and look to tomorrow.
